Welcome to Sam's Speech House
I'm so glad you found me.
If you're here, you may be wondering whether your child's speech is developing as expected – or perhaps you've noticed their communication feels harder than it should.
At Sam's Speech House, I offer personalised speech pathology for young children and their families in a small home-based clinic in Toowong. I have a special focus on speech sound disorders and cleft-related speech differences.
I feel incredibly fortunate to use my skills and experience when working with families during such important stages of development. Communication shapes so much of daily life, and it is an honour to play even a small part in a child's story.

12+ years supporting children and families
I'm Sam, a paediatric speech pathologist with over 12 years of experience supporting children and families across rural Queensland, Brisbane, and London.
My approach combines evidence-based practice, creativity, and strong relationships. I believe the best therapy is not only grounded in science, but also practical, engaging, and deeply family-centred.
I have a special interest in supporting young children with speech sound disorders, including children with cleft palate and craniofacial differences, allowing me to provide highly specialised and thoughtful care.
Becoming a parent has added another meaningful layer to how I work — deepening my appreciation for both the joy and complexity of family life, and reinforcing the importance of support that feels practical, compassionate, and realistic.
Outside the clinic, I live with my husband, young daughter, and our golden retriever, Noni, who you may occasionally spot around the house.

Three simple steps to get started
Get in touch
Send an enquiry and tell me a little about your child.
Initial chat
We'll have a short phone conversation to discuss your concerns and whether I'm the right fit. If I feel I don't have the right skills to work with your family, I will help you find another skilled therapist.
Assessment & support
If appropriate, we'll book an assessment and create a clear plan together. My goal is for families to leave feeling more confident and less overwhelmed.

You came into our story at a time when we were worried about our son's talking journey. We were scared and genuinely very worried for him. You immediately put us at ease, and he showed almost immediate progress and a weight lifted off us.
